ABOUT THE VIDEOHOLICA 08
This year for the first time in
the frame of the International
Biennial AUGUST IN ART presents
a video program - VIDEOHOLICA
08.
VIDEOHOLICA aims to show the
moment picture of the
contemporary video art to the
public with the chain of
projections on the public
spaces, where it is less known,
as well as to presents art works
as by the good known artists as
and by the young artists, who
are working in this area.
VIDEOHOLICA 2008 will take place
for the period of 8 -15 august
2008 in Varna Radio, Varna City
Art Gallery, Active Art Gallery
(Varna), Puppet Theatre (Varna),
Georgi Velchev Art Museum
(Varna)
The first edition of the
VIDEOHOLICA had submitted 357
art works of 224 artists from 49
countries.
The selection made by the
curators Tzvetan Krustev and
Neno Belchev presents 210 videos
by the 187 artists by Austria.,
Australia, Algeria, England,
Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria,
Venezuela, Ecuador, Germany,
Greece, Zambia, Zimbabwe,
Israel, Indonesia, Iran,
Ireland, Spain, Italy, Canada,
Cyprus, China, Colombia,
